Insider Cluster Buys
A cluster buy is when several of a company's officers and directors buy its stock on the open market at about the same time.
One insider buying can mean many things; several deciding on their own that the shares are cheap is a stronger signal,
and studies of insider trading have found clustered purchases to be among the more informative ones.
Counted: purchases by officers and directors who are people. Trades under 10b5-1 plans are excluded,
and so are 10% owners and funds that sit on a board, since a fund buying through several entities would make a cluster on its own.
